After his time in the progressive rock band, Tristan Park, Brian Coombes and his wife, Michelle, recorded an album in their home studio in Manchester, NH (the first Rocking Horse Studio). The album, which was released in 2003 under the band name Waking in the Blue, featured many of Brian’s former Tristan Park band mates (including current RHMC band mate Mike McAdam) and special guests Chris Difford (Squeeze) and Ian McDonald (King Crimson/Foreigner). The album is a blend of acoustic pop, indie, and progressive rock.
